March 30, 2022: The Finance & Warrant Committee met on Monday, March 29, 2022 to review and discuss the following warrant articles:
- Article 5 (Prior Year Bills)
- Article 7 (Appropriation to Special Purpose Stabilization Fund)
- Article 8 (Appropriation from Special Purpose Stabilization Fund)
- Article 12 (Reports of Committees; update report will be presented regarding the Master Plan; Dedham Square Planning Committee)
- Article 15 (Appropriation to repair Powder House)
- Article 24 (Special Legislation to continue employment of Fire Chief/Civil Service)
- Article 25 (Special Legislation regarding age requirement for police officers

March 18, 2022: Using a hybrid meeting format, the Finance & Warrant Committee will be hosting an all-day, public meeting to review the FY23 proposed budget with each Town Department on Saturday, March 19, 2022, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 8:30 AM and will be held in the Francis W. The Town of Dedham will be using Electronic Voting Devices for the first time at the 2022 Spring Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 16, 2022.

Warrant Review Meeting (Mini Town Meeting)
Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dedham Middle School
WHEN: Monday, May 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Dedham High School Auditorium
CHECK-IN: All Town Meeting Representatives are asked to please proceed to the table labeled for your voting precinct to check-in, receive your name badge, Electronic Voting Device, and any additional information/materials.
WILL THERE BE SOMEONE TO HELP ME FIND MY SEAT OR GET AROUND THE ROOM, IF NEEDED?
Yes, staff and volunteers will be onsite to assist with making sure all Town Meeting Representatives find a seat in the voting section.
CAN I WATCH TOWN MEETING ON TV?
Yes, Dedham TV will broadcast Town Meeting live on the Government Channel and it will be livestreamed on www.dedhamtv.com.

The Warrant Review Meeting, also known as Mini Town Meeting, was held on Monday, May 9, 2022 to review the warrants with Town officials, Town Meeting Representatives, and members of the public, and is available to watch on demand, courtesy of Dedham TV. Visit www.dedhamtv.com to view program schedules and to watch videos online.
Town Meeting has 273 representative members elected to terms of 1-3 years during the annual Town elections, which are held on the second Saturday of April. Town Meeting members meet, deliberate, act, and vote in the exercise of the corporate powers of the Town during spring, fall, and special Town Meetings.

Dedham is incorporated as a Town in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and governed by a legislative branch called Town Meeting. and an executive branch headed by the Board of Selectmen Town meeting is representative, with residents elected from the Town's seven precincts. Its powers and responsibilities are defined by Town Charter Article II. Representative Town Meeting.
Town Meeting is conducted with the help of the Select Board, Town Clerk, Town Manager, and Town Moderator.
