Project Objectives
The focus of this project will be on how to bridge Dedham Center with other commercial areas in the town to connect civic, commercial, cultural, and social activities throughout the town. Specific project goals are as follows:

An assessment of existing conditions: identifying and mapping sites and intersections where a signage program will have the greatest impact.

Host community meetings with merchants and residents to gather input and share findings.

Development of a wayfinding program and branding for Dedham Square.

Detailed design specifications of a sign program for implementation by the Department of Public Works.

Project Schedule
This project will be completed by June 2022. There will be monthly Advisory Committee meetings to be scheduled every three to four weeks whether in person or virtual by the middle of June 2022. Dates will be developed with the Community Development Director. The Select Board approval presentation will take place in late May or early June 2022.
