Multiple locations around the historic Mother Brook will host a 375th birthday celebration on Saturday, May 13.

The primary attraction will be at Condon Park with rides, games, bouncy houses, vendors, food, and raffles. Tours of historic area attractions will be offered, including:

• The East Dedham Firehouse (circa 1897), 230 Bussey Street, and
• The old gear room of the mill buildings (circa 1835) which are now the Mother Brook Condominiums on Stone Mill Dr.

There will be no admission fee, but contributions will be accepted. All of the proceeds are tax-deductible and will benefit the Mother Brook 375th Anniversary Committee, which is constructing walking trails along the brook to showcase the brook's history and beauty.

Parking will be limited near Condon Park, so people are encouraged to walk or bike to the event. Additional parking will be available at the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center (Old Avery School), 123 High Street.
